Q.  How far down from the top of the ladder is the track to be located ?

A.  No matter what the height of the ladder, the rail is mounted very close to 6.5"  from the ladder's top.

Q.  How high can I reach from the ladder ?

A. From a roughly 8' ladder, while safely holding the top grasp bar, one should be able to comfortably  reach 11'.

Q. How can I get top and bottom hardware so I can make my own library ladder ?

A. The ONLY way we know is to buy one of our ladders and remove the hardware and remount it on your ladder (having a 2nd beautiful ladder).

Q. Can these ladders track around a corner ?

A. Yes, the track can be bent using a conduit bender (in a large arc) and a bracket extension fabricated to reach the corner. This is done by the customer.

Q. When will you be getting more ladders ?

A. We never know. Tomorrow we may get a call from someone who wants to sell their ladders. So, the best advice we have is to keep checking this website for news of new finds .
