Time spent on the Sheepscot River continues to provide inspiration for
Sherrill Hunnibell whose work includes mixed media paintings, works-on-paper, fiber constructions and a continuing series of altered books entitled “Book  of Hours.” 

Her work has been exhibited in galleries and museums and is held  in private and public collections. Most recently, examples are included in  the book "Altered Books, Collaborative Journals and Other Adventures in  Bookmaking," from Rockport Publishers. 

The recipient of a 2004 Artist Grant from the Massachusetts Cultural Council, Sherrill has received residency  fellowships at the Banff Centre for the Arts and the Virginia Center for the  Creative Arts and has taught workshops at Haystack, Round Top, Glasgow  School of Art, and Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design.
