Last August, Roger Stoddard of Lincoln, Massachusetts left several pamphlets at Holmes Cottage in Calais for the St. Croix Historical Society. I spent Thursday afternoons at the cottage as a volunteer and, naturally, I had a look at those pamphlets. Here are two brief reports with local interest.
