Whitefield's
Bicentennial Quilt is a work in process .  Our target date to have the quilt put together and quilted is early June.

There are thirteen participants  working on this project.
Arolyn Antognoni, Jean Phelps, Charlene Donahue , Judi Ekholm , Sue Garcia , Leila Safin Haddad , Linda LaBelle , Karen Mitman , Katherine Condon Morse , Darlene Newcomb , Kathleen Morrow Reilly, Pauline LaBelle Weeks , and  Carolee Withee.  There will be 18 blocks representing aspects of life in Whitefield.  The outside border of the quilt will be railroad tracks, representing the narrow gauge railroad so essential to the Town's past.

There is a wall dedicated to the quilt in the planned foyer of the new town office building.  In the meantime, the quilt will live in the Historical Society.
