A CALENDAR TO PRINT

  • Friday, June 19th - Town meeting reenactment 7pm at the Town House

  • Saturday, June 20th – House and garden tour 10:00 - 3:00 -sponsored by the Whitefield Historical Society. Tickets at townhouse, Arlington Grange, Union Hall. $10 in advance $12 day of tour.

  • Saturday, June 20th – Dinner and Dance 5:00 - 7:00 at St Denis Hall.- sponsored by the Knights of Columbus

  • Saturday, June 27th – 9:00 -Sheepscot Valley Conservation Association walk at the Whitefield Salmon Preserve
     

  • Saturday, July 4th – 10:00 a.m. Kings Mills Parade and Fun Day. Bicentennial themes will reign.

  • August 7-9 Whitefield Days – A three day celebration which will take place under a large tent on the school property. The tent will provide space for craftspeople, food vendors, farmers and musicians. The school will house works by local artists, a photography contest, the community mural and the Bicentennial quilt. The schedule of events is as follows:

  • Friday, August 7th

  • 4:00-4:30 Opening of the time capsule at the school

  • 4:30 - 6:30 Period supper – sponsored by the Whitefield Union Hall at the school.

  • 7:00 p.m. Pulitzer prize winning author, Alan Taylor will present a talk on the early history of Whitefield and the Liberty Men.

  • 8:00 p.m. A reenactment of a “white Indian” uprising and barn burning.
     

  • Saturday, August 8th
    Grand Army 5K road race – prizes awarded Kids race @ 8:30 - 5K @ 9:00 a.m.

  • Children’s’ games

  • Whitefield’s finest Firemen displays

  • Antique Auto show at he school yard - hosted by Coopers Mills Volunteer Fire Dept. 9 -2

  • Musical events – all day

  • Local artwork and photography on display in the school.

  • 3:00 Softball game at the ball field.

  • 4:30 - 6:30 Barbecue under the tent – hosted by the Calvary Bible Baptist Church.

  • 7:00 - 10:00 Musician Josh Robbins and The Returnables

  • 9:00 Fireworks

  • Dancing, Dancing, Dancing

  • Sunday, August 9th

  • Brunch/Lunch - hosted by the Lions 11:30 - 12:30
    Tent will remain open until mid afternoon

  • Bath Municipal Band concert - 1:00 – 2:00


     

    Sunday, October 25th - 2:00 p.m. at the Townhouse -Whitefield Historical Society's
     day of Remembrance - "The Early Irish in Whitefield " a talk by Professor Edward McCarron,
