Bicentennial House and Garden Tour,
The WHS is sponsoring
a self-guided house and garden tour on Saturday, June 20 from 10
to 3. Five gardens and seventeen houses are on the tour, 7 open
for interior viewing. We are indebted to Carolee Withee for organizing the garden tour; to Christi Mitchell for her architectural knowledge; and to Paula Benne for the use of her hooked wall hanging (shown above) as the event’s logo. Tickets, on sale starting at the Memorial Day exercises, are $10 in advance or $12 at the door. For advance tickets, call Libby Harmon at 549-7209 or buy them at Green Hollow Orchards. Tickets will be available on the day of the tour at the Town House, where the Bicentennial Quilt will be on display, and at Arlington Grange and Union Hall where coffee and goodies will be served.
